This one is like. Oh it's fucking a beautiful bite, the SOUNDSCAPE it creates like. fuck!!! Visual audio delight that deploys every single one of its relatively small for this jam wordcount with perfect weight and precision. Blown out and staticy and wet. Bleeding out over decades because it's your job and that's basically the same as your life kind of vibe, filling holes carved out before you were born in each others guts. Love the setting and the colors and shapes used to present it. BIG fucking fan especially on the focus on scent and smell and how the meat itself has utterly no bearing on it, like its so thoroughly just a resource that it can't even have identity or presence in death...the way that what the digestive fluid IS and what it means for it to be that way...it gives you so much to think about and chew on..... It's the fuckin VIBE!!! A+ stuff

one of my favorite sounding games if you can believe it, absolutely impeccable sound choices and usage. loved the striking visuals and i adored the world at hand. great work!

Fantastic Short and Sweet Visual novel, just enough information and a setting so simple but so unique I both know everything I want to and desperately want to know more. 

I'll be thinking about the sounds of the Offal District and dreaming of what it's like to operate and maintain the great coil-gun for *months*

This is the first VN from the jam I meant to read and I'm glad I finally did! The world building, the mood, everything was amazing and the fact that I want more is a testament to how gripping this was!

I love the CGs and how incredibly well it ties with the storytelling of the vn. Doing naughty things in a bubble of acid was my favorite part of the vn. 

Oh my gosh that was such a rich experience for the playtime. Truly lovely, the entire atmosphere was just.. ugh I love that so much. Thank you~! 

Really sick world building in such a short amount of words. Loved the atmosphere of the game and the way that the acid continued to eat away at them made me incredibly nervous and on-edge. 

This was soooo so good. I loved the world building, how quickly and efficiently you created this setting with minimal explanation, just dropping us in and bringing us along for the ride. The characters were both great, I loved their dynamic, how desperate Jules is for Gwen. The parallels between Jules and the kaiju- being used for their bodies, just being 'meat'. The concept of the two fucking in the stomach of a dead kaiju is just so. Chef's kiss. The interplay of sex and danger, so well balanced. This was a fantastic read.

WOW, this was so so SO good!! love how short and to the point it is- really sets this specific tone of being used to, well. being used. absolutely GORGEOUS art, cool as fuck setting, and a hot as fuck dynamic. also, i'm not much of a music person, but i like how the music felt very.. part of the setting, if that makes sense? it felt like i could hear that coilgun in the music, and that's such a cool little touch

please please check this vn out, dfhjdj i really really loved the art direction for this and how expressive both the  characters and scenery were !! i am very shy to comment but i just wanted to say, i have such an appreciation for art that is curious and explorative in such a short amount of words. the art was visceral and really enhanced the reading experience. the setting is deeply intoxicating, and the chemistry between the two is woahhh!!! awesome awesome piece you've got here, really love it !!:D

The presentation is fantastic: from the music to the art to the world itself (hell yeah for making this in Godot by the way). The writing of the two leads is good and very familiar. I REALLY ADORE IT.

The orifice is really good. I love them squeezing through it and how disgusting and hot it is at the same time- to be doing something like this in this kind of place. AAAAAAAAAAAAA

I liked the ending I breathed a sigh of relief and was surprised to see that this appears to be a common thing people in this world due, bathe in these juices. Just fantastic.

THIS WAS SO FUCKING GOOD

I cannot begin to describe how viscerally hard I fuck with They Once Had Names. This was fucking intoxicating to read, the concept of great kaiju being just reduced to (horny) fuel is excellent, and the writing was delightful. All of the character dynamics felt fun and playful and meaningful, the sex and its buildup felt lovely. I want and want to be Jules and her depersoned plaything and dfjhgbhjdfg this is awesome. Excellent work, especially for such a short entry!

It's nice to see another godot entry hehe. So many CGs, such a cute and unique visual style... This paired with your previous work already exudes character.

As a bit of feedback on the tech side; Implementing a custom UI theme takes maybe a few hours of devtime if you're really thorough but can help make the thing feel more cohesive. I also personally like using the meta click events of RichTextLabels in credits, so that people can click on stuff directly! Also fyi, the main menu music doesn't loop dfhgfd

This was really good, the ending line drawing it all back in was really poignant. I'd love to learn more about this world, the snippets we do get are really neat. The art is great and really fits the aesthetic!

Really neat short little game! I loved the parallels drawn between the kaiju and the protagonist, both reduced to nameless meat to be used. Really interesting snippets of worldbuilding getting interwoven in ways that serve the narrative of "women having emotionally and literally unhealthy sex", which I'm always a fan of!

Love the worldbuilding and the atmosphere of the game! This is the kind of thing that makes me want to write in other people's settings ;p

Was excited for a more messed up ending but I like how it turned out anyway. Gj!

Very short but it was really cool, I'm particularly in love with the setting.

It kinda reminds me of a book about exploring a giant human body that I had when I was a kid.

This game is amazing!!! The characters are really wonderful, and the world is utterly fascinating. I think it's good that not everything is explained, but we get just enough details that the rest is left up to imagination. 

The scenes inside the kaiju also reminded me a lot of Mystery Flesh Pit with the aphrodisiac pools and working as a meat cutter.

Keep up the good work! This is the first submission from the jam I've played, and it's left a hell of an impression.

The epiphany I had as it all came to a close with that final sentence. Superb.

so so so so so good... the short length left me wanting more but what's here is great. all of the shots of the world are so evocative and mysterious, and Jules is so cute. loved it

At first I thought maybe they accidentally get trapped or eaten by a monster, and they fell in love with each other but eventually they'll die. But after I played this, to be honest, this is really a masterpiece. I really like your story, and thank you so much for a game that neither of these two died. Seriously, I've played a lot of games like this, but only yours get me sign up for an account on itch.io and write my very first comment. In short, I love it.
